His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, spoke by phone on Thursday with Council member and Marib Governor Sultan al-Arada to review the latest developments in Marib Governorate, including the attempted assassination of Adel al-Rouhani, head of the Technical Department of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform (Islah).
The President checked on Rouhani’s condition and was briefed on the attack, which left several of his escorts dead. He also received an initial report on the circumstances of the incident and the suspected perpetrators.
