The surgical team specialized in separating Yemeni Siamese twins, "Youssef and Yassin", sons of Muhammad Abdul Rahman, managed to perform a complex operation that lasted 15 continuous hours, with the participation of 24 specialists in pediatric neurosurgery, plastic surgery, anesthesia, nursing and technicians, led by Dr. Mutasim Al-Zoubi.

The Adviser at the Royal Court, the General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, head of the medical and surgical team in the operations of separating conjoined twins, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah, said that this operation is one of the complex operations due to the twin's sharing of cerebral venous sinuses and parts of the brain, adding that it had previously been performed for the twins. Two previous operations to separate cerebral veins and brain adhesions, and placement of skin equipment to help cover the space after separation.

The surgical team explained that the operation was complicated, and the twin Yassin faced some difficulties due to the increased bleeding as a result of adhesions, which was dealt with by the team. His condition is considered critical.
