Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik made a phone call to the Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Program in which he conveyed the condolences of the Yemeni government and people for the treacherous terrorist crime that claimed the life of the director of the program office in Taiz, Muayad Hamidi.
The Prime Minister, in his name and on behalf of the government and the Yemeni people, offered his sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the World Food Program with all its workers, the family of the deceased, his relatives and his loved ones in Jordan and Palestine, in this affliction whose death blew the hearts of all Yemenis and represented a heavy loss by all standards, not only to his family and the World Food Programme, but also to the Yemeni people in the first place, for whom he gave and worked sincerely on the humanitarian side.. stressing that the killers were identified and arrested in preparation for their trial so that they may receive their just and deterrent punishment for the terrorist crime they committed.
Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik affirmed the government's commitment, and under the directives of the Leadership Council, to secure humanitarian work, enable relief organizations to carry out their work, and facilitate the arrival of aid to those who deserve it, to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the war sparked by the terrorist Houthi militia, and limit its looting of aid and harness it for what it calls the war effort to continue fighting against the Yemeni people.
He noted the qualitative efforts and contributions of the World Food Program in supporting the government's efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis. The Prime Minister renewed his confidence that humanitarian and relief work will not be affected by this reprehensible and brutal incident.
