His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today, Wednesday, at al-Ma'shiq Palace, in the temporary capital Aden, the credential papers of the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Hamad Azuabi.
Following the ceremonies President al-Alimi along with member of the Presidential Leadership Council Abdurhman al-Mahrami held discussions with the Ambassador over the developments in the Yemeni national arena and the regional and international efforts to revive the peace process amid Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias' intransigence.
Al-Alimi welcomed the Emirati Ambassador, praising the supportive stance of the UAE in support of the Yemeni peoples and political leadership, deeply appreciating the remarkable sacrifices of the Emirati troops in the ongoing battle against the Terrorist Houthi militias' coup within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council also voiced appreciation and gratitude to the Emirati institutions and charity organizations for their significant contribution to the humanitarian actions and development process in Yemen.
