Yemen's Ambassador to China, Dr. Mohammed Al-Maitami, joined a delegation of diplomatic mission heads in a visit to Jilin Province in northeast China, organized by China's Foreign Ministry to explore development opportunities and strengthen international cooperation.
Speaking on behalf of the diplomatic delegation, Ambassador Al-Maitami praised China's positive role in supporting developing countries, including Yemen, and highlighted the importance of enhancing future cooperation and partnerships.
He noted this visit offers a valuable chance to build new bridges between Yemen and Chinese provinces in areas like economic development, investment, cultural exchange, and expertise transfer, especially with Yemen-China diplomatic relations approaching their 70th anniversary.
Jilin Province is a significant economic hub in northeast China, known for its advanced industries including automotive, heavy machinery, biotechnology, energy, and modern agriculture.
