Yemen and Oman have announced activating ground transport treaty to allow vehicles, trucks and cars enter Omani territories for the purpose of trade exchange and promoting commercial relations.

The announcement came during the visit of Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Najeeb al-Aweg and Omani Minister of Transport, Telecommunications and Information Technology Saeed al-Ma'wali to a number of vital facilities in Omani transport sector in Salalah State.

Al-Aweg discussed also with Omani officials chances of Yemeni investments in different sectors and cooperation between Metrology Centers of the two countries and exchanging information in this regard.
