Two schools inaugurated in Suwayda camp in Marib with UNICEF funding

The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Ali Al-Abab, along with the resident representative of UNICEF in Yemen inaugurated today two basic schools in the Suwayda IDPs camp, north of the city of Marib.
One school consists of 10 classrooms and accommodates (600) male and female students, while the other consists of 6 classrooms and accommodates more than 300 students in Suwayda camp. The two schools project is funded by UNICEF.
During the opening, Dr. Al-Abab praised UNICEF's contribution to supporting the education sector at this exceptional stage and providing temporary classrooms in camps and concentration areas of displaced people so that students can continue their education.
