Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak and American Envoy to Yemen Timothy Lenderking conferred today, Saturday, here over the developments in Yemen including Houthi militias' unending military operations and violations against the civilians in Marib and Hodediah.
The conversations took place on the sideline of Manama Dialogue 2021.
Bin Mubarak reported to Lenderking about grave violations and crimes by Houthi militiamen against the civilians and IDPs in the two governorates of Marib and Hodiedah.
He also highlighted the economic and humanitarian challenges the government has been facing, calling for backing the government politically and economically so that it can do its job effectively, improving peoples' living conditions, alleviating their suffering.
The American envoy stated that it is time for all Yemenis to get together, jointly countering Houthis' provocative actions, going on to make tangible progress in the implementation of Riyadh Agreement and handling the economic crisis in Yemen.
Lenderking affirmed his country's full support for the legitimate Yemeni government, Yemen's unity, security and stability.
