The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen's Vice President, Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh, met today with the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Beheibeh, to review the efforts made in confronting the emerging wave of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and efforts to improve performance and provide health services.
During the meeting, the Vice President listened to a brief report on the health situation in all governorates of the Republic and efforts to combat the pandemic, praising the efforts made by the Ministry of Health in this regard including the supply of medicines and other requirements to the healthcare facilities.
The Vice President pointed out the importance of the ministry’s role in caring for the wounded heroes of the army and the popular resistance and facilitating their various stages of receiving medical care in line with their immortal heroic roles in defending the nation and its gains.
