AL Secretary-General renews support for Yemen political process

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, renewed his support for the political process in Yemen led by the United Nations envoy Martin Griffiths, on the basis of the Gulf initiative, the outcomes of the Yemeni National Dialogue Conference and the UN resolutions, mainly resolution no. 2216.
Aboul Gheit expressed his support during a videoconference with the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak with whom he discussed the latest developments in the Yemeni situation in light of the settlement of the Yemeni government in the temporary capital Aden.
