RIYADH-SABA
Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadramai met here on Wednesday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden Ann Linde.

The session which included the Swedish Special Envoy to Yemen Peter Semniby and the Swedish Ambassador to Yemen Nicolas Trouve devoted to discuss the developments in Yemen and the political solution prospects.

Al-Hadrami voiced deep gratitutde and appreciation for the Swedish Kingdom for its support for the Yemeni government and the underway efforts to make peace in Yemen.

He stressed on the importance of making tangible progress in implementing the Stockholm Agreement prior moving to new round of consultations.

The Foreign Minister reiterated his condmenation of the violations committed by Houthi rebels including sexual abuses against the women who have been held in the militia's jails, recruiting children and impsoing restrictions upon the international organizations operate in humanitarian actions.

Al-Hadrami welcomed the UNSC's resolution 2511 about renewing Yemen sanctions regime.

The Swedish Foreign Minister reiterated her country's support for the legitimate government and the UN-led peace efforts.

She stated that her country is committed to keep on supporting the efforts have been made by the UN's envoy Martin Griffiths. She also affirmed that Sweden will continue to contribute to the humanitarian actions.
