Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed Wednesday here with the British Charged' Affairs to our country Simon Smart aspects of Yemeni-British bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Yemeni national scene.

The Vice President praised the UK's supportive stances in support of legality, security and stability in Yemen, voicing the Republic of Yemen's condemnation of the Iranian provocative behavior against the Chief of British diplomatic mission in Tehran.

He described the Iranian action as one the Iranian regime's violations of all international laws and norms and its terrorist practices against the world's peoples and nations.

Mohsen stated that Iran has embarked on exporting the Iranian revolution which is enlisted within the terrorist actions that resulted in killing peoples and interfering in more than one Arab countries including our country, where Iran supports the Houthi militia.

The Vice President pointed out to the implementation of Riyadh Agreement. He stated that the legitimate leadership headed by President Hadi is very keen on implementing the agreement and joining all forces and efforts to counter the Iranian spoiler scheme in Yemen represented by Houthi militia's coup.

Mohsen highly praised the efforts have been made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to put Riyadh Agreement in place.

The Vice President blamed Houthi militia for constantly creating obstructions to block the implementation of Hodeidah agreement, reiterating the legitimate government's interest in establishing the peace based on the three terms of reference including the GCC's Initiative, its operational mechanism, outcomes of national dialogue and USCRs, namely 2216.

The British diplomat reiterated his country's support for the legitimate government and Yemen security and stability.
