Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Al-Bakri, met with the non-resident representative of the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Aden to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the ministry and the foundation.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Najib Al-Awj met with the Director General of the General Director of JICA for Middle East and Europe in Washington today.
He praised the Japanese technical support for Yemen through grants and training programs for servicemen working in the Yemeni public sectors.
He stressed the importance of the return of Japanese investments in Yemen in a way that enhances the role of the Yemeni private sector in development and reconstruction and to achieve the common interests between the two countries. He called on JICA to reopen its office in the temporary capital Aden.
