Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan discussed with US Ambassador to Yemen Mathew Tuelleron Wednesday humanitarian situations and development needs in Taiz Province.
The meeting dealt with points of Stockholm Agreement on Taiz and lifting Houthi siege on the city for allowing humanitarian aid to the city.
Governor Shamsan stressed necessity of making the humanitarian situation and lifting Houthi siege on Taiz on the top of all agreements as Taiz has been suffering from Houthi unjust siege for four years, which affected badly the people's life.
For his part, the US Ambassador confirmed his understanding to humanitarian situation in Taiz and necessity of providing humanitarian aid on the bases of the agreement for alleviating suffering of the people.
