The Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani received today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden, the Ambassador of the Royal Netherlands to the Republic of Yemen Jennette Seppen.
The conversations dealt with the Yemeni-Dutch bilateral relations and the ways to support the government's efforts aimed to manage the economic, humanitarian and development challenges.
They also touched on the continuous escalation by the terrorist Houthi militias and the Iranian interventions in the internal affairs of the Republic of Yemen that have further exacerbated the economic and humanitarian situations and undermined peace efforts.
The Prime Minister highlighted the Yemeni government's need for the international community constant assistance amid current difficult circumstances.
He also underlined the importance of establishing active partnership with the Royal Netherlands in the areas of capacity building, economic recovery and development.
The Dutch Ambassador reaffirmed her country's support for the Yemeni government and the ongoing reforms program.
She noted that Dutch support in Yemen is concentrated on health, water and economic recovery.
