Yemen Executive Mine Action Center launched an awareness-raising workshop for the people of Shabwa about landmines in the eastern province on Sunday.
The workshop, with UNICEF support, is meant to educate 24 participants from the districts of Bayhan, Ayn and Osaylan in Shabwa about the risks of landmines and UXOs and on how to disseminate awareness to the general public in those districts.
