Yemen’s Ambassador to Lebanon Abdullah al-Duais met today with Lebanese Ambassador Ibrahim Assaf, Director of Political and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, to discuss bilateral relations and the latest developments in Yemen and the region.
Al-Duais reviewed the latest political developments in Yemen and efforts to address the challenges facing the country. He praised Lebanon’s fraternal positions in support of Yemen and stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries on issues of mutual interest.
For his part, Assaf briefed the Yemeni ambassador on the latest developments in Lebanon and reaffirmed his country’s support for Yemen’s security, stability, unity and territorial integrity.
