Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Dr. Anwar al-Mahri discussed Wednesday with the Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Zubeyir Yaka Yılmaz, and the Head of the Turkish Red Crescent Mission in Yemen, Ahmed Korkmaz ways of strengthening cooperation and partnership in support of the technical education and vocational training sector in Yemen.

Info. Minister renews government's call for investigation into fire of WFP warehouse

Minister of Information Mo'amer Al-Iryani has renewed the legitimate government's demand that an impartial investigation should be conducted into reasons of the fire broke out last Saturday in the World Food Program(WFP) warehouse storing in Hodeida seaport.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the minister noted that fire destroyed huge quantities of the WFP's food and relief assistance allocated the people in need in different Yemeni province.

The minister stressed that it is very important to conduct an impartial international investigation that international organizations, US and ambassadors of the 18 nations sponsoring peace process in Yemen must contribute to it .

Al-Iryani said:" The man-caused fire incident has highlighted the need for putting the seaport under international management and monitors far from the militia's control that has been seeking to confiscate humanitarian aids provided by the international organizations for the Yemeni people".
