Republican decree establishing Abyan University issued

President Abd-Raboo Mansour Hadi has issued the Republican Decree No. 3 for 2018, the first item of it stipulates on establishing a university in Abyan Province named Abyan University.

The second item of the decree stipulates that the University will be prestigious and financially and administratively independent in accordance to effective laws.

The third article of the decree defines the headquarters of the University in Abyan City and has authority to establish colleges and scientific centers across the country in accordance to applied rules.

While the forth article subjects the university's aims to the effective laws, the fifth one stipulates that the decree is valid since its issuance and to be published in the state gazette.

The Republican Decree numbering 4 for 2018 has been also issued appointing Professor Mohammad Salem al-Maisari as the Rector of Abyan University.

The second article of the decree appoints Professor Mohammad Ali al-Sunaidi a Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs and the third article appoints Professor Hasan al-Rahawi a Deputy Rector for Students Affairs.

The forth article appoints Professor Saleh Abd-Rabbo a Deputy Rector for Higher Studies Affairs.
The fifth article stipulates on validity of the decree since its issuance and to be published in the state gazette.
