Minister of Legal Affairs Ishraq al-Maqtari discussed today, Thursday, with Senior Private Sector Specialist at the World Bank (WB) Tania Ghossain ways to cooperate on developing the system of government contracts and agreements, enhancing the ministry's legal and institutional capacities and supporting public-private sector partnership.

The conversations, held via video conference, focused the ministry's needs for technical support in drafting and reviewing major investment contracts and concession agreements, as well as preparing contract templates that take into account the specifics of different sectors, in addition to training legal staff and enabling them to assess the obligations and risks associated with government contracts.
