Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, met with leaders of the National Bloc, a coalition of political parties and components, to discuss the current national situation and the role of political forces in addressing the challenges facing the country.
During the meeting, President al-Alimi praised the role of political parties in defending the state project and the republican system.
He emphasized the importance of these periodic meetings, which are not merely for show but a necessity imposed by the requirements of partnership and the complexities of the current reality.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council highlighted the challenges facing the country, including the financial crisis caused by the Houthi militia's attacks on oil exports, and the impact on the government's ability to fulfill its obligations, such as paying salaries and providing basic services.
