MASAM removes 837 Houthis-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen known as (MASAM) managed to extract 837 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the fourth week of August 2024, all planted and left by Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias in different Yemeni regions.
The Center reported that MASAM's deminers removed two anti-personnel and 59 anti-tanks landmines, 771 UXO and 5 explosives devices.
It is important to note that MASAM removed 456 thousand and 664 of landmines since it has commenced its demining mission in 2018.
