The National Commission for Inquiry into Allegations of Human Rights Abuses held talks with local judiciary and public prosecution officials in Hadhramout's provincial capital today to have a close look on human rights situations and rights protection mechanisms, in addition to several issues the commission is tasked with following up.
The chief of Hadhramout Court of Appeal, Judge Mohamed Faraj, highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Commission and the judiciary through observation, follow-up and appraisal process meant to enforce the rule of law in line with human rights values and principles, and contributing to building peace.
