Badhib briefs UNDP's official on gov't's developmental priorities

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Waed Badhib held discussions today, Saturday, in the transitional capital Aden, with the Resident Coordinator of the UNDP in Yemen Zena Ali over the Yemeni Government's developmental priorities which are set to be submitted to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and will be carried out by the UNDP.
Badhib detailed Zena on the government's top priorities in the forthcoming stage and the proposals of the developmental projects that will be put forward to the GCC to finance.
The Minister appreciated the UNDP's contribution to financing several economic and social oriented projects in relevance to the sustainable development goals, promising all needed support for the UNDP to carry out the planned projects.
The UNDP's official spoke about the projects are being carried out by the UNDP including the strategic plan for the private sector, investment plan for alternative energy and the plan for the economic recovery.
