President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Council member Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi held today a tripartite meeting with the US Special Envoy Tim Lenderking, and Stephen Hickey and Anne Grillo, the directors of the Middle East departments at the British and French foreign ministries respectively.

The meetings focused on the developments in the Yemeni situation and the pressure required from the western officials to push the Houthi militias to deal seriously with the efforts aimed at renewing the truce and reviving the peace process in Yemen.

The meeting also touched on the economic and service reforms led by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, and ways to support them as an ideal option to enhance the chances of peace and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
