Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basuhayb, discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with the Director of the Humanitarian Aid and Development Organization in Yemen, Abdul Halim Dhaifallah, the organization 's implementation of additional nutrition services project during the current year in the districts of Hadibio, Abdul Kuri and Qalansiyah in Socotra Governorate.
The meeting touched on the organization's interventions implemented during the past year, which included a project to distribute food and enhance food security for the poorest families in Socotra Governorate, at a cost of $433,000, and a project for additional nutrition services to raise awareness of the risks and causes of malnutrition in the governorates of Abyan, Lahj and Socotra. Taiz, Hadramout, Al-Wadi, Amran and Al-Bayda, at a cost of one million and 258 thousand dollars.
