Al-Subaihi: We need to step up efforts to promote transport businesses

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (Lt Gen) Mahmoud al-Subaihii underscored the importance role of the transport sector for the development drive, national economy and the peoples.

The transport sector is of paramount importance for the development process, the national economy and the people's prosperity, he stressed.

He paid inspection visits today, Thursday, to the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport in the temporary of Aden, the Aden international Airport and the Seaport of al-Ma'alla.

During his visit he held meeting with the leadership of the Ministry, got first-hand information about the Ministry's plans, ongoing efforts and challenges need to be addressed.

Al-Subaihi urged the leadership of the Ministry to step up efforts and put plans in place to boost transport businesses and improve its services.

" It is time to redouble efforts and carry out the approved plans to develop the transport infrastructure, institutionalize its actions and modernize its apparatuses", he said.
