Leadership Council Chairman meets Consultation and Reconciliation Commission

President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Saturday, at Ma’ashiq Palace, along with Council member Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, with the Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, Muhammad Al-Ghaithi, and his deputies, Sakhr Al-Wajih, Jamila Ali Rajaa, and Akram Al-Amiri.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council listened to briefings from the Chairman and Deputies of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission on the Commission’s work during the past period, its future programs in reconciliation and justice, and strengthening its role in the political, economic, social, media, and cultural fields, and protecting rights and freedoms.

President Al-Alimi acquainted the commission's board on the developments in the local situation, including his internal visits to the governorates of Hadramaut and Al-Mahra, and the economic and financial reforms that would attract regional and international funds and grants.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and a member of the Council stressed the importance of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission focusing on the main issues consistent with the nature of the exceptional circumstances imposed by the war of the Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime on the Yemeni people and their national gains and interests.

His Excellency the President praised the efforts of the Consultation Commission and its supportive role for the Council, stressing the keenness to enhance its effective presence in bringing viewpoints closer and bridging trust between all national components.
