Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi met Wednesday with governors of the Capital Secretariate, Sana'a, Mahweet, Jawf, Ibb, Sa'adah, Thamar, Raimah, Hajjah, Amran, Hodeida and Baidha'a discussing with them humanitarian situations in their provinces.
He also discussed with them necessary interferences to alleviate suffering of the people in these provinces and supporting their aspirations in regaining the state and end Houthi terrorist militia's coup against the state.
President al-Alimi put the governors in the picture of latest internal developments, including reforms process adopted by the presidential council and the government in liberated provinces and results of recent foreign tours to mobilize support for the government and facing Iranian destructive agenda in Yemen and the region.
He confirmed the role must be played by heads of local authorities and importance of the collective work for realizing objectives and changes meeting aspirations of citizens, as well as providing them with government services available in liberated provinces.
The meeting discussed suffering of the people in Houthi-held provinces and the terrorist militia's violations to private rights and public freedoms, issuing unjust verdicts against opponents and foreign faiths to Yemeni people.
The reports of the governors pointed out to the state of anger and complaint against the terrorist militia, necessary procedures to protect those voices, enhancing attendance of social figures and opinion leaders and activists, as well as supporting the popular resistance in facing the imamate backward agenda.
The convening officials confirmed full solidarity with citizens in provinces under control of Houthi terrorist militia, support their demands, protecting their living sources and continuing positive interaction with efforts aiming at paying salaries of civil servants on the basis of 2014 employment records as constitutional and moral commitment of the program of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government.
The convening reviewed financial indicators and huge figures looted by the terrorist militia for supporting their war against Yemeni people; 250 billion YR looted from revenues of Hodeida Ports during the truce, in addition to trillions from illegal taxes and fees and public services.
According to reports, the militia plundered more than USD 4.8 billion from cash reserves in the Central Bank of Yemen and seized deposits of persons and opponents estimated at USD 1.7 billion.
