MARIB – SABA
In a visit to the Marib General Hospital Wednesday, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Yemen surveyed the health conditions of the victims of the missile attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on the Al-Rawda residential neighborhood last Sunday, which killed and wounded 35 civilians, most of whom were children and women.
During the visit, the High Commissioner met with the manager of the ospital, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qubati, and learned about the number of the attack's victims received by the hospital, their health conditions, names, ages and genders.
The hospital's manager confirmed that the hospital received 21 wounded, including two children who had died, one of whom was decapitated, while the seven-month-old baby, Rayan Radwan, died yesterday of his injuries, while a number of cases are still in serious condition in the hospital's ICU. The High Commissioner visited the injured in the ICU and was briefed on their condition.
He also visited a number of the injured in the inpatient departments and listened to their testimonies about the heinous crime. He saw the bodies of the three children killed in the terror strike.
