Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi reviewed Wednesday the field and military situation and the conditions of personnel stationed on the front lines in the battlefronts of Jabal Habashi and al-Kadha in Taiz Governorate.
During the visit, Lt. Gen. al-Subaihi met with officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers, conveying to them the greetings and appreciation of President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
He stressed the importance of complete cohesion between the leadership and fighters on the battlefield.
Addressing the officers and soldiers stationed on the front lines, al-Subaihi said, “We stand by you and support you in this decisive national battle.”
He added that the political and military leadership stands alongside the troops and supports their efforts and sacrifices in this national battle. He affirmed that support would be provided to the forces stationed on the front lines to strengthen their resilience and enable them to carry out their duties in defending the homeland and restoring state institutions.
He also praised the high morale demonstrated by the fighters on the battlefronts.
Accompanied by Commanders of Taiz Military Pivot, al-Subaihi toured Taiz and Turba cities, inspecting condition of people and military camps.
Al-Subaihi stressed the importance of strengthening the front lines, raising the level of military and operational coordination, and taking all possible scenarios into account when planning and conducting field operations.
He emphasized maintaining a high level of readiness and the highest degrees of vigilance, as well as reinforcing the front lines with the necessary human and logistical resources.
He affirmed the state’s readiness to provide full support to the people of Taiz Governorate in their national struggle to defeat the terrorist Houthi militias.
Lt. Gen. Al-Subaihi also received a detailed briefing from Major General Yousef Al-Sharaji on the field situation and the advances achieved on various fronts, as well as mechanisms for enhancing effective coordination between the National Resistance and the Taiz Pivot.
For his part, Governor Shamsan presented a comprehensive overview of the latest military and service-related developments in the governorate.
He stated that the Houthi militias’ focus on Taiz is part of an effort to advance the Iranian agenda aimed at taking control of international shipping in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Governor Shamsan further noted that Taiz is fully prepared for a general mobilization and to reinforce the front lines with thousands of fighters, driven by the deeply rooted national awareness among its people of the threat posed by the Houthi project.
