President Hadi props UN Panel of Experts' efforts

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has asserted his support to the efforts have been made by the UN Panel of Experts team tasked with implementing the UN sanctions established under the UN Security Council resolution 2216.

As he met Tuesday head of the team, Ahmed Hamish, the President made clear that the government will make every effort may help the UN team doing its job and report about violations the Houthi rebel militia has been committing in different forms.

The President appreciated the team's efforts and their field-visit to get first-hand facts.

The team's members noted that they will visit the interim capital Aden and provide a report in next August to the Panel of Sanctions about the violations, weapons and missiles smuggling to the putschists.

" Our overall objective is to support the legitimate government's action in line with the International resolutions, first of all resolution 2216", said the team.
