Yemen's Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Jalal Faqira, met with Jordan's Minister of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Budour, to discuss enhancing bilateral medical cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting took place in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The ambassador praised the facilitation provided by the Jordanian government for Yemeni patients, particularly the medical treatment scholarships offered under the health cooperation protocol between the two countries.
The Jordanian minister expressed his country's readiness to strengthen medical cooperation with Yemen and facilitate procedures for Yemeni citizens seeking treatment in Jordan.
The two sides also discussed a program for Yemeni doctors to undergo residency training in Jordanian hospitals, aiming to enhance medical cooperation and improve healthcare services for Yemeni citizens.
