The President of the University of Aden Dr. al-Khadr Lasour received today, Tuesday, academic delegation from Germany's University of Rostock, headed by the Consultant of Gastrointestinal Surgery in the General Surgery Department at the University Hospital Dr. Mark Philipp.
They discussed aspects of academic cooperation and ways to establish internship programs between the two universities.
The conversations also explored opportunities for exchanging academic visits, implementing joint research project, and developing training and skill programs.
The Rector of the University of Aden asserted that the University of Aden is keenly seeking to establish academic cooperation and internship with the well-established universities such as the University of Rostock.
"We're very keen to develop academic cooperation and internship with the leading University of Rostock", he said.
The German delegation stated that the University of Rostock is interested in establishing long-term cooperation with the University of Aden, especially in the fields of general surgery, through joint training programs, exchange of experiences between professors and doctors and providing opportunities for practical and research training for students and researchers.
