Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh, officially opened the renovated Central Medical Laboratories, marking a significant milestone in the country's healthcare sector.
The refurbished labs, equipped with cutting-edge technology, will enhance diagnostic services and improve patient care.
The renovation included upgrades to departments such as hormones, tumor markers, virology, clinical chemistry, hematology, and histopathology.
Minister Buhaybeh emphasized the labs' critical role in supporting Yemen's healthcare system and pledged continued investment in staff training and equipment to maintain international standards.
The renovation was supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other partners.
