During the opening session, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in addressing economic, security, and environmental challenges.
He highlighted the impact of instability in Yemen on maritime traffic in the Red Sea and the Suez Canal.
