Minister of Information Muammer al-Eryani said that Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias are fully responsible for the safety of Judge Abdulwhab Qatran, who started hunger strike since the first days of Eid al-Fitr in protest against kidnapping him and his enforced disappearance by the militiamen .
Judge Qatran has been critical of the militias' atrocities and violations against the fellow citizens in the militias-controlled regions.
In the beginning, of last January, militiamen encircled Qatran's house with two armored vehicles and several pick-ups car , stormed the house, terrified his family, looting the house furniture and properties. After 40 days of his abduction, the militias lifted his judiciary impunity.
The Minister called on the international community, the UN, its envoy to Yemen and all human rights organizations to condemn these criminal practices and violations and ramp up pressures upon the Houthi militias to release Judge Qatran.
