Foreign Minister, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, discussed today, with his Tunisian counterpart Nabil Amara areas of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them.
In the meeting held on the sidelines of the Arab League Council's 159th session at the ministerial level,, Minister Ben Mubarak praised the firm stances of the Republic of Tunisia in support of our country's government in all international forums, stressing the importance of moving forward towards improving relations between the two countries in various fields.
Minister bin Mubarak reviewed the recent developments in our country in light of the Houthi militia's rejection of all peace efforts, and its continued violations and crimes against the Yemeni people, pointing to the great concessions made by the Yemeni government in order to make regional and international efforts a success, in addition to the reforms it is carrying out in various fields to achieve security and stability and alleviate the humanitarian crisis caused by the coup of the terrorist Houthi militia.
For his part, the Tunisian minister referred to the peculiarity of the relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, stressing the position of the Republic of Tunisia in support of the government in our country represented by the Presidential Leadership Council, and for all efforts aimed at achieving peace in accordance with the references agreed upon regionally and internationally, and for everything that would preserve Yemen's security, unity and stability.
