Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak held conversations today, Thursday, with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Vershinin over bilateral relations and topical issues of common interest.
The discussions took place on the sideline of the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement contact group convened in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku.
The latest developments in Yemen, peace prospects and Russian constructive role in support of the efforts to make peace in Yemen were also touched upon.
The two sides stressed the importance of pushing the political efforts, end the war and establish peace to serve the stability in the region.
