President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met today, Thursday, with the Security and Military Committee headed by Major General Haitham Qassem Taher.
During the meeting, the committee handed over its final report to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and the field trip plan.
He also listened to a brief explanation about the support required to complete the work of the committee during the coming period.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the efforts of the committee in accomplishing the tasks assigned to it under the declaration of the transfer of power and the relevant military laws and regulations.
The announcement of the transfer of power provides for the formation of the joint security and military committee to achieve security and stability, create all conditions, and take the necessary steps to achieve the integration of the armed forces under a unified national command structure within the framework of the rule of law.
