The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, praised the effective role played by the Netherlands in resolving the issue of the dilapidated Safer oil tank, to contribute to sparing the region a major environmental and humanitarian disaster.
This came during his meeting, today, on the sidelines of his participation in the 18th session of the Regional Security Conference (Manama Dialogue), the Director of the Middle East Department at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs with whom he reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the repercussions of the Houthi terrorist attacks on civilian objects and oil export ports which will exacerbate the deteriorating economic situation and increase the suffering of citizens.
Bin Mubarak referred to the threat posed by the Houthi militia to security and peace in the region and its thwarting of all efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen.
