The Minister of Foreign Affairs and, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, briefed the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, via a phone call, on the risks and repercussions of the Houthi terrorist attacks on oil installations in Hadramout and Shabwah governorates.

Bin Mubarak called on the organization to stand by the Yemeni government and condemn these terrorist acts that target the economic capabilities of the Yemeni people and undermine international efforts to end the war and achieve peace in Yemen. He stressed the urgent need to take collective positions to label these militias as a terrorist organization in order to deter them from acts of violence and terrorism and to return to the option of peace.
