Deputy Chair of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi meet today, Tuesday, with the Head of the EU Mission in Yemen Gabriel Munuera Vinals.

The session intended to discuss the CRC's efforts and action-plans to achieve the reconciliation and support peace.

Al-Mikhlafi briefed Vinals on the CRC's plans and the progress it has made in establishing sub-committees to carry out the CRC's mission and achieve the objectives it has been created for.

The discussions touched upon the needed technical support to help the CRC doing its job effectively.

Mr. Vinals confirmed the EU's support for the CRC's action to achieve the urgently needed national reconciliation.
