The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Launch of emergency immunization campaign against measles and rubella

Deputy Minister of Public Health Dr. Abdullah Dahan and the Deputy Minister for Primary Health Care Sector, Dr. Ali Al-Walidi, launched the emergency health immunization campaign against measles and rubella, which will be implemented by the Ministry of Health with support from the World Health Organization and the UNICEF.
Dahan and Al-Walidy stressed the importance of the campaign in achieving health protection for children from the dangers of measles.
They referred to the measures taken by the Ministry of Health to eliminate many diseases and epidemics and their causes. They called on everyone to contribute to the success of the campaign and to overcome difficulties in front of health teams.
