Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb discussed Friday here with the Secretary General of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Rola Dichti the organization's support to Yemen in field of institutional improvement.
Support to capacity building and preparing national economic, social and institutional vision to the period of peace and reconstruction in Yemen.
In the meeting held on the sidelines of Arab Forum for Sustainable Development, Batheeb praised support of the ESCWA for supporting Yemen in this phase, expressing aspirations for expanding fields of technical and consultation support to Yemen to help government regain their recovery and play their role of providing services to people.
For her part, the UN official confirmed readiness of the organization to provide support to Yemen in preparing the national vision in partnership with some of development partners, especially the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen.
