The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Houthi militants shell Taiz hospital, injure a guard

The Houthi militia have shelled the main hospital in Yemen’s central city of Taiz killing one of the hospital’s guards.
Medical sources told Saba the militia besieging the city for six years shelled the Surgical Operations Department of the Al-Thawrah Hospital on Friday afternoon injuring 25-year-old Ehab al-Sami’ee seriously and incurring big damage in the department.
The militia have over the past two days been shelling the entire neighborhood of AL-Thawrah with cannons, damaging several houses and causing people to flee.
