ADEN - SABA
Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik said the seizure of public offices by gunmen in Aden on Sunday prods the government into taking actions “to unify the security decisions” under the umbrella of the Interior Ministry as per the Riyadh Agreement.
In a meeting with the Interior Ministry leadership and Arab Coalition representatives Monday, a day after gunmen took the headquarters of the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education Justice and others by storm, Abdulmalik said the moves are “unacceptable.”
The meeting discussed the efforts to proceed with implementing the security and military features of the Riyadh Agreement which the government signed with the Southern Transitional Council in November 2019.
