The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Thursday with Coordinator of UNOPS Khaldon Saleh a number of projects associated with Health sector.
The minister was acquainted with the organization's plans led by qualifying 12 hospitals and 20 isolation centers, in addition to a number of projects with the cost of USD 45 million financed by German Bank.
The two parties also discussed projects for supporting solar energy financed by the World Bank and building feeding centers financed by World Health Organization.
Health Minister praised interventions of the UN in health sector, pointing out to health sector's needs of more projects, especially in rural areas.
