Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed Wednesday with the Deputy Head of the UN Mission in Hodeida Anila Crooslak a number of issues associated with Hodeida Agreement resulted from Stockholm Understandings and obstacles hindered its implementation.
Vice President pointed out that killing Colonel Mohammad Assulaihi, the member of monitoring ceasefire team by Houthi militia and hundreds of daily violations all proved the militia's negligence of implementing the agreement and used
Stockholm Agreement a means for regrouping in other fronts.
He called upon the United Nations to pressure Houthi militia and taking direct punishments against them for their continuous violations of Hodeida Agreement, which has been considered a focal point and foundation stone for realizing inclusive and permanent peace.
For her part, the UN official pointed out to efforts exerted for resumption of the UN coordination and redeployment team's tasks for the purpose of implementing the agreement.
She confirmed keenness of finalizing implementation of Hodeida Agreement and Stockholm Agreement on Hodeida for making foundations for inclusive and permanent peace.
