The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

The local authority and a civil society organization in Sayoon city of Hadhramout have launched the distribution of 2000 food packs to internally displaced families and vulnerable households from the host communities.
The project was launched by the assistant deputy governor of Hadhramout Abdulhadi al-Tameemi and Al-Amal Institution for Development.
